About me
I’m Marta Garcia-Borska, a native Polish speaker. I lived in Spain for 20 years and am now based in Exeter, UK.
I am studying English and Spanish at The Open University. From my own experience, I know that a new language opens doors—but also that speaking can feel like the hardest step. That is why I create a calm, encouraging space where you can practise without worrying about mistakes.

We meet on an easy-to-use video platform. Each lesson combines conversation, practical activities and clear explanations. You will receive materials to review afterwards.
Yes. In-person one-to-one lessons are available in the Exeter area by arrangement. Tell me your location and preferred times when you enquire, and we can agree a suitable public venue or learning setting.
I mainly teach Spanish as it is spoken in Spain. If you need the language for a particular country, journey or job, we will also cover the most important regional differences.
My main offer is designed for adults and teenagers. For younger learners, please contact me first so we can discuss their age, level and learning goals.
Only if you would like it. I can prepare short activities between lessons, but they are never compulsory. The most important thing is that your plan feels realistic.
